PERFORMANCES BEGIN AT NEW WORLD STAGES
"The 39 Steps" continues its record-breaking New York run at the 'fashionable and stylish' New World Stages, Theatre 1. Located at 340 W. 50th St (between 8th and 9th Avenues), New World Stages is also the home to the Tony Award-Winning musical Avenue Q and features lounge areas with delicious cocktails, including the "39 Steps" cocktail. You can even take your drink with you to your seat and enjoy it during the performance.
Located near many fine restaurants, New World Stages is just '39 Steps' west of Broadway...well, give or take a few! CONVENIENT PARKING IS ALSO AVAILABLE.
Previews continue until Opening Night April 15, 2010 with a wonderful new cast. "The 39 Steps" will run at New World Stages indefinitely.

The 39 Steps marks its 500th performance on Broadway!
Alfred Hitchcock’s THE 39 STEPS, Broadway’s longest running comedy, plays its 500th performance on Broadway tonight, May 19th. Now in its second smash year, the Tony Award-winning quick change comedy version of Hitchcock’s classic film thriller is playing at the Helen Hayes Theatre (240 West 44th Street).
The 39 Steps opened on Broadway January 15, 2008 at the American Airlines Roundabout Theatre. Following a smash 12-week run it moved to the beautiful and stylish Cort Theatre on April 29, 2008 and then on January 20, 2009 to its present home, The Helen Hayes Theatre.

Roundabout Run of The 39 Steps Ends March 29, Only to Surface April 29 at Cort
The 39 Steps, the gleefully silly stage version of the classic Alfred Hitchcock thriller, will step out of the American Airlines Theatre after its March 29 performance.
Commercial producers now take the silly caper to the Cort Theatre, where performances begin April 29 (all seats at $39 at that performance) toward a May 8 opening.
